These days I find myself looking at maps, studying the land of Israel and its features. I pay close attention to the details of geography and am much more interested and in touch with the particulars of the history surrounding the Bible.

I left my heart here 30 years ago and I have been wanting to come back and reclaim it….and I am leaving it again. I have felt that God just put together perfection on this trip. We have had such favor with this incredible man (Ezer) and I have always loved the two of you from the beginning.

The thing that I have liked about this trip is you (Rich) reading the scriptures at these important places. It made it so real in my life and it’s been such a blessing. I don’t even know how to explain it, it’s like Jesus was with us.

We arrived in Israel 2 years to the day that I started the journey to find myself. In the Garden of Gethsemane today, the peace was even more on me that I had done the right thing.
